So it’s finally winter and it’s time to do some boots shopping! The hottest style this season must be the over the knee boots ( or some of you may call them the thigh high boots) . From style muses like Kendall Jenner to Olivia Palermo, to digital stars such as Chiara Ferrangni and Margaret Zhang, all of the fashionistas are having some pretty cool boots wrap around their thighs lately. So why is everyone so crazy about these extra long shafts beasts? Not only do thigh high boots give us a chance to wear mini dress and shorts in winter by keeping our legs really warm, but they also always magically lengthen our legs ( where is my love-heart-eyed emoji?!) . Picking the right pair for yourself will make your legs looking as long as Miranda’s! So here is my little tip when choosing thigh high boots:

How to choose the right pair of thigh high boots/ over the knee boots

1) Make sure that your boots are long enough! Ideally to have them covering as least 13cm of your thighs above your knee, anything not as long will not have the effect of lengthening your legs.

2) Always have the shaft a little be saggy ( but not slipping down of course) as shafts that are too tight will just be looking like stockings/ leggings and will not look as flattering

3) Go for material with slight stretch, just to give your legs some flexibilities and comfotness 😉

I have also picked two pairs of thigh high babies for you, scroll down to see if you can get an idea of what to get for this winter~
