Kenze and I had a pretty laid-back road trip from Adelaide to Melbourne end of last year, which I think worth sharing with you all! The main purpose of our trip to Adelaide was to attend our gorgeous friends, Emman & Dave’s wedding . Since we decided to fly up, we thought that it might be a good idea to drive back to Melbourne so we’ve booked a car and picked it up at the airport once we’ve arrived Adelaide.
We explored the Adelaide CBD on our first day and had spent most of our time shopping at Fashion Bunker and Kmart ( yes! Kmart! as if there’s no Kmart in Melbourne! lol ) on Rundle street. Emma’s family was so sweet and had offered us to stay at their holiday house by the beach in Goolwa! The holiday house is about 1 and a half hour away from the city so we started to drive there right after dinner. It was very dark when we arrived the house plus we’ve spent too much time at indoor shopping so we didn’t really take any pictures on day 1 😛
Emma & Dave’s wedding was on day 2 but it did’t start until late afternoon so we spent our morning at Murray mouth, just chillaxing really~
Emma and Dave’s wedding was beyond beautiful! It was taken place at a farm ~ Sunshine, blue sky, lots of flowers, and filled with love, can it be any prettier?!
Weather on day 3 wasn’t as good as the first two days but I have got a surprise – we coincidentally drove pass the Port Elliot show – I am a big fan of show so I was so super over the moon when I saw it! Highlight of the show was definitely the baby animal area where you could feed and pet and cuddle the furry friends. They are so so cute !!!
In the next two days, we drove along the coastline and just basically stopped at wherever amazed us.
The sunset at Glenelg Beach was pretty phenomenal !
We also drove to the Tailem Bend pink lake ! It’s in the middle of nowhere but it’s totally worth stopping by. I mean…what can beat seeing something as spectacular as this ?
Our last stop before we entering the Victoria boarder was Robe. Robe is a very small and cozy town with amazing beaches! Maybe I need a holiday house there 😛
