Hi everyone! If any of you are traveling to Melbourne soon, you’re on the right post! In this post, I will talk about two of the coolest places in Melbourne ( at least I think they are ;P ) ~ Some of you may know that I used to study and work in Melbourne for almost eight years and I still go back at least once a year to visit my friends so Melbourne is basically my second homeland ! Therefore, when I am asked where to go or what to do when visiting Melbourne, apart from suggesting the most popular spots like Flinders Street Station, Queen Victoria Market, St. Kilda Beach, or the Crown Casino, I always recommend some less touristy places, like Brunswick street and Camberwell Sunday Market

1. Brunswick Street

Brunswick street is located in Fitzroy, which is about 15- 20 mins away from the Melbourne CBD by tram 11 ( get off at Johnston Street ) , this is the hippest street with some amazingly cool cafes, brewery, and restaurants! You also get huge variety shops to shop from – from the precious vintage stores to some talented Australian designers. Brunswick street is also  renowned  for its graffiti arts, remember to have your camera fully charged so that you can capture every single piece of street art!

Sila Expresso Bar on Brunswick street has always been one of  my favourite places to spend my weekend! It’s a very small cafe runs by this very friendly Italian gentlemen and their toasties are just delicious! Don’t forget to treat yourself a piece of their homemade cookies too!

2. Camberwell Sunday Market

The other place I love the most in Melbourne is the Camberwell Sunday Market . This market is no doubt a vintage treasure trove! I have once got a vintage Moschino bag in mint condition there for only 10 bucks! If original vintage clothing or accessories aren’t your cup of tea, there are actually some regular stalls selling reworked vintage clothing~! Apart from treasure hunting, I also love love love the hot jam donuts and hotdogs there! I can easily kill half a dozen of donuts by myself XP ! To get to Camberwell Sunday market from the CBD, simply take the Lilydale, Ferntree Gully or Alamein Line from Flinders Station or Melbourne Central Station and get off at Camberwell station, the market is just less than 100 meters away~!
